LFCC was always set to be a hectic one this year, but it really exceeded expectations.
Anyway, I finished Hathor in time and had a blast cosplaying her - I do enjoy cosplaying characters that evidently aren't cosplayed a lot because of the reaction they get, and Hathor was really no different.
I was lucky enough to get some photos despite the crowds - I've uploaded a couple already and there are more to come. I was also filmed for a video so here's hoping my bit made it in and I don't look like too much of a goober!
I was persuaded by
to sign up for the masquerade on the day (okay, it didn't really take much persuading) and that was a blast, if not completely terrifying and I'm pretty sure I just ran on the stage then ran off. But hey, it's all an experience!
Oh, and a photo of my Hathor with a Sam Carter cosplayer was retweeted by Hathor's actress, so that pretty much made my weekend.
It was so good to see everyone again over the weekend. It seems that hotels seem to like putting
and I on the same floor, so it was nice to see so much of her over the weekend, and
too. I also got to see a healthy amount of
which I'm very thankful for. So to them and everyone else I ran into over the weekend, thank you for making it enjoyable despite the heat and the crowds. It's a shame that
couldn't make it, but that just means we'll have to have double the fun next time, right?
I've no idea what the next event I am attending will be. I only have plans for Kitacon until the financial situation improves, but I'm hoping to make it to something before that - maybe WLFCC or LFCC2015.
I'm not really going to be working on anything new until the above applies, though I will be continuing to work on Lux until my current supplies for her run out, and I may work on a few smaller/cheaper things.
